STUFF I DON'T LIKE

* all this stupid Abba mania!!!
* headaches, obviously.
* huge handbags with a hundred wee pouches and zips and pockets and buckles where you can't find a pen when you need one
* puddings with too much cream!
* eggs that are over or under cooked
* pigeons - it's not their fault, but I really don't like them when they're walking about
* tall people who don't notice short people
* horror films. what is the point?
* most insects, even the ones that look like crabs and lobsters if you see them under a microscope

MORE STUFF ABOUT ME AND MY NAME

So - when I discovered there was a Saint Marina (see blog), I started asking people (my Mum and Dad, my Gran, my friend Veronica who knows everything, she thinks, and my writer friend Susie who really does know everything - kinda) about other Marinas in the world, alive or dead or imaginary; and Dad reminded me, of course, of the one in the Thunderbirds show, the little mermaid who never speaks. When I was small he used to hum the Marina song to me - I think that's why he called me Marina, actually. I found a link to it:

Then there's a Princess Marina, apparently (was - she's dead now) - here's what it says on Wikipedia:
